Complaint Procedure according to the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act

Complaint Contact Point

As part of the implementation of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), DESY is obliged, among other things, to establish a complaints procedure.
Whistleblowers who observe misconduct or an increased risk with regard to the requirements specified in the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act can contact the lawyer of trust appointed by DESY. The person providing the information can remain anonymous to DESY if desired.
The liaison lawyer takes care of the initial recording and assessment of the incoming complaint or information in accordance with the Supply Chain Duty of Care Act, passes it on to the DESY compliance officers for further processing in accordance with the LkSG after a plausibility check, participates in the clarification of the facts if necessary, while maintaining the anonymity of the whistleblower, and acts as a communication interface between DESY and the whistleblower.

Dr. Simon Spangler and Renée Eckruth work for the law firm Oppenhoff & Partner. They have extensive experience with regard to legal issues that may arise in the context of the Supply Chain Duty of Care Act (LkSG).
Your complaint will be carefully examined. If necessary, the lawyer of trust will contact you to clarify any queries. In order for the lawyers of confidence to contact you, you must disclose your contact details as part of your complaint. The confidential counsels are bound to confidentiality and will not forward your identity and contact details to DESY without your consent.
Once the investigation has been completed, you will be informed of the outcome of the complaints procedure in writing.
Complaints can be submitted by e-mail or telephone in German or English, also in anonymous form.
